Dhulikhel Hospital, Nepal
PPF’s partner in Nepal is the Dhulikhel Hospital, an independent, not for profit, non-government hospital operating in Kavre District since 1996. The Hospital provides hospital based and primary health care, public health programs and outreach services in very remote areas of Nepal.
The Hospital is also a prime health and training facility linked to Kathmandu University.
The PPF works closely with Dhulikhel Hospital in identifying and improving areas of sanitation need, exposing trainee public health staff and medical students to the real impact of environmental conditions on health, and examining what it takes to improve these conditions.
The PPF is very excited to have such a valuable partner.
