Almo’s study addresses the resource consuming and increasingly unnecessary production of virgin building materials, and how these can be replaced with increased use of recycled or recyclable materials.
Building on information and experiences from industry leaders, architects, designers, builders and demolition contractors who innovate in the field of waste utilisation, Almo produced a documentary film, “Nothing Wasted” to illustrate how building waste can be channelled into practical and beautiful architectural objects. The video is a valuable resource for those interested in effective ways to reuse and repurpose existing materials.
Almo worked with professional film makers to produce the film which is available for viewing on PPF’s youtube channel.
