Just promoting another one of the great designers in the PPF network. Taylor presented us with the winning design in our Nepal portable hand wash unit design competition in 2020.
It’s been a slow development but the unit has been built and trialled in Nepal’s remote regions. It has morphed a bit along the way in response to user feedback and the final version will be hitting the Nepali “paddock” (thanks PP..) soon.

Jake Kellow, key person in the PPF network and founding/ongoing member of the PP Architecture Scholarship selection panel, is pursuing his own Byera Hadley travelling scholarship study.
Tracing marketplaces along the Amber Road. Jake’s currently in the Czech Republic after spending time in Poland, with more to come. Fabulous project and study topic.

Great news. Victoria King, PP Architecture Scholar 2022, has been awarded a prestigious Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarship.
Victoria is building on her PPAS study to explore the evolution of shophouses globally, focussing on their role in heritage and housing and their potential benefits in urban and regional communities.
The BHTS fosters the growth of architectural talent and global perspectives within the field of architecture. It supports projects that will contribute valuable insights and innovations to enrich the architectural community of NSW.
